actually i am attract with its physical appearance first then only i move on to check its function..hiak hiak..i always use to judge something by its cover..not good not good..sometimes i only read nice cover book..how bout the ugly book?hehe..i just use my highlighter to make it as c o l o u r f u l as i can and tarrrraaa i got the nice cover..good solution right?so clever..hiak hiak..
ok, i back to LX5's story..i found the information online..LX5 is now more advance compare to LX3..i know i am talking non sense >.<", for sure new stuff sure more advance right, if more lousy who gonna buy it?!haha..
So what’s new bout LX5?
"The LX5 has a re-designed lens, CCD sensor and image processing engine, along with smaller improvements and upgrades. The newly developed f/2.0 ultra wide angle 24mm LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens comes with an upgraded optical zoom now reaching 3.8x (90mm).
The sensitivity and saturation of the 10.1 megapixel CCD has been improved, while the Venus Engine FHD has been redesigned for advanced signal processing in both photo and movie shooting modes. The new sensor and image processor, combined with the f/2.0 aperture promise excellent low-light shooting, especially when you consider the extensive ISO range reaching up to 12800. For those interested in capturing movies, the LX5 can now record in high-quality 720p HD using AVCHD Lite.
Externally, the body looks almost identical to the LX3, with just a few minor adjustments. The grip has been thickened for easier holding, while the newly incorporated turn-and-push jog dial allows for quick selection. A 1:1 square format has been added to the aspect ratio option dial on top of the lens barrel too.
The screen has been redesigned for better viewing in any light, while the battery life has been extended to shoot 400 pictures per charge."
